Before I tell you the juicy details about exactly WHAT happened when I set up Dubsado, allow me to quickly explain what Dubsado is, and what it can do.
Dubsado is an all-in-one CRM (customer relationship management program). There are so many types of CRM’s and there are Project Management programs, to-do lists, client portals, the list goes on and on…. (You can check out some of my resources, but I’ll be adding more soon!)
Dubsado’s all-in-one automation is stunning! You can embed lead forms, send proposals, request contract signatures, send invoices and receive payments, schedule appointments and completely customize the entire process through automated workflows!! Yall, this is HUGE. I love these workflows. Customization is key. Templates save you time!
Think about how much time on-boarding takes you, whether it’s a new client or new team member.
It might look something like this:
-
4-5 (maybe more) emails and/or phone calls to schedule/facilitate meetings and outline the scope and goals
-
putting the scope/goals into a pretty presentation format (or just sending it in an email…)
-
creating a contract from scratch to send via email/scanning or another online tool (or maybe not sending one at all…)
-
creating/sending an invoice and waiting for payment, confirming all boxes are checked before getting started
-
creating/sending detailed questions for getting started or gathering assets setting up the tasks for team members and coordinating final details/communication
Can we start yet? Geez! That’s a lot of work before the actual work begins.
I think we could agree that sometimes there isn’t a one size fits all from one project to the next, BUT there are a lot of consistent factors that could be defined and created one time as a template for ANY type of project. (This is one way I massively help my clients refine what they are doing and streamline their business). Once that initial set up is done, it can be automated EVERY SINGLE TIME! Sure, you’ll have the ability to customize when you want, or you include manual steps as needed and preferred, but the automation is in place any way that you choose, and all of your stuff is one spot! You don’t have to worry about contracts, emails, forms, invoices, scheduling, status, etc being spread across 15+ different platforms or locations. You can even offer your clients a Dubsado client portal on your website where they can login and access their stuff. Talk about easy.
When I was first introduced to Dubsado, I had the opportunity to dive right in and learn as I went. I fell in love. I was a fan of project management programs, and I had seen a ton, and I had used some corporate renown CRM’s, but I had seen nothing quite like this. I began setting up Dubsado for my clients, offering customized builds for their entire operational system. I loved it. I had such a high value on how the workflows worked, and everything it was capable of.
I knew that I would use Dubsado for my own business in the future, but I didn’t think I was there yet. I felt like my business was still too “small”. Because of this, I never signed up. I kept making contracts manually, I recreated service guides/pamphlets in Canva a million times, and I was always very intimidated when it came to sales calls. They weren’t fluid, and I was confused about what my service packages were and what my packages should cost. I kept offering Dubsado setups until one day while I was working in a client’s account, I just decided it was time.
I signed up! Well, that week I had some leads in my pipeline who were ready to jump on a consultation call. I’ve had leads before, but I’ve seen them fizzle out. This was my chance to do something different and see it succeed. So, I did the initial work and I got ALL of the pieces in place. The same thing I was doing for other business owners, I did for myself. I set up a public proposal that I could send to ANYONE at ANY TIME, and it would allow them to sign up, sign a contract, pay on the spot AND keep funneling them as far down a workflow as my little heart so desired. It was invigorating. I felt unstoppable!
But, beyond all my wonder-woman endorphins,
HERE’S WHAT HAPPENED:
I got on phone calls with TWO potential clients in the SAME WEEK and walked through my beautiful new proposal with them in our consultation call. The prices were laid out, the packages were clear, the professionalism spoke for itself and THEY SIGNED ON A RETAINER!
Guess what? That’s not all. Literally, you guys. One of the clients chose a HIGHER valued package than she expressed interest in on our consultation, and less than one week later I had a lead come through in the middle of the night — lead form: check, initial email response: check, schedule consultation: check, send proposal: check. We got on the phone days later, and this client had proposal in hand and SAME DAY signed contract and paid the first retainer invoice.
The first week I had Dubsado set up, my new systems and flawless professionalism landed me three clients.
I could go on and on about the ways I’m continuing to utilize Dubsado for my business currently, how I dream of using it in the future, and how much I enjoy setting it up for others. Right now, I’m amid improving my systems and implementing Dubsado setups for two of my current clients. It’s my number one go-to for any business owner.
If you don’t have solutions like this in place, now is the time! If you’re unsure, reach out and we’ll talk. It’s time for confidence in your sales, and fluidity in your day-to-day.
